JAKARTA, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- The opponent of World
Boxing Association featherweight champion Chris John would be determined at the
middle of this month, Antara News Wire reported here Tuesday.
"I have asked my trainer who is also as my manager, he signaled the
certainty about who would be his opponent would be known at the middle of this
month," John said.
John defended his title in Tokyo on Oct. 24 against a
Japanese fighter.
According to John, his manager is negotiating with
the candidate of his opponent.
John, who has ten times defended his title, now is
under a training program in Herry's Gym boxing camp in Perth of Australia.
