    WASHINGTON, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Denver Nuggets double All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony is sidelined due to an elbow injury, the NBA team said on Monday.

    The 24-year-old will be out for two games, against the Portland Trail Blazers.

    Anthony is averaging 20.5 points and 7.4 rebounds this season but scored just 10 points on three of 13 shooting during a 108-101loss to the Phoenix Suns Saturday.
