FUKUOKA, Japan, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen
Jiabao arrived here Saturday for a trilateral meeting between leaders of China,
Japan and South Korea.
During the meeting, Wen will discuss tripartite
cooperation, the ongoing global financial crisis and other issues of common
concerns with his Japanese counterpart Taro Aso and South Korean President Lee
Myung-bak.
Before the trilateral meeting, Wen will meet Lee and
Aso respectively on bilateral relations.

The leaders are expected to issue a joint statement
on trilateral partnership relations after the meeting.
They are also scheduled to hold a joint press
conference, and meet representatives of youths and children of the three
countries.
Wen will fly back to Beijing late in the day.
The last tripartite meeting between leaders of China,
Japan and South Korea was held in Singapore on Nov. 20, 2007.
BEIJING, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) --
China expects the upcoming tripartite meeting with the Republic of Korea (ROK)
and Japan to achieve a "positive result", said Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu
Jianchao on Tuesday.
China hoped the meeting would enhance cooperation among
the three nations in east Asia, and promote peace, stability and development in
northeast Asia and east Asia, Liu told a regular press conference. Full story
