LAGOS, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Chongqing Municipality in
southwest China fostered sistership with Lagos State, the economic hub in
Nigeria, on Thursday.
At a ceremony held in Lagos, Liu Longzhu,
vice-chairman of the Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's
Political Consultative Conference, and Muiz Banire, commissioner of Environment
of Lagos State, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the sistership between
the two cities.

Chongqing, one of China's largest cities, and Lagos State, will further promoted
the friendship between the Chinese and Nigerian peoples and facilitate exchanges
and cooperation between the two sides in economy, trade, science and technology,
culture and education.
Banire said it is a great horror for Lagos to become
sister state with Chongqing and Lagos is expecting more Chinese investors from
