BEIJING, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Wang
Qishan met here on Wednesday with Zenon Lomat, chairman of the State Control
Committee of Belarus.
Wang congratulated on the successful conclusion of
the 10th meeting of the China-Belarus joint commission on trade and economic
cooperation.
He said Sino-Belarusian relations had developed since
the two countries forged diplomatic ties 16 years ago, and cooperation on trade,
education and culture expanded.
Wang encouraged the two nations to create better
condition for enterprises, make innovation in cooperation and implement the
concluded agreements to push forward economic and trade cooperation.
Wang said Chinese government would take vigorous
measures to expand domestic demand and speed up economic restructuring to
maintain the steady and rapid development of its economy.
Lomat said Belarus valued its ties with China and
hoped to enhance economic and trade cooperation.
