MUMBAI, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- The Mumbai police probing the terror attacks
confirmed on Sunday that only 10 terrorists entered the city just an hour before
the attacks starting on Nov. 26, according to local NDTV.
Local media initially
reported that there were 40 terrorists including 18 foreign nationals.

Nine of them were killed in encounter, While a 21-year-old was captured
alive, police said, adding that arms and ammunition brought in by the terrorists
were enough to kill around 5,000 people.
The arrested terrorist, Ajmal Mohammed Amir Kasab, told investigators that
all the 10 terrorists had come by ship.
They had come in a ship and used a boat to come to the shore, said the
police, adding "four Indians were already on the boat and the terrorists killed
three of them while they used one, Amar Narayan, to handle the boat. When the
boat was just three nautical miles away from shore, they slit Narayan's throat
and dumped his body in the trawler. They then used their own skill to come to
shore."
Rakesh Maria, joint commissioner of police, crime branch said, "after
landing at Fish Market at Cuffe Parade near Colaba, they formed four groups and
hired taxis to reach to their destinations. A group of two young terrorists
entered Hotel Oberoi, four into Taj Mahal Hotel, two stormed into Nariman House
while the rest entered the CST railway station from its mail trains' gate. Their
plan was just to cause maximum damage and return with hostages protecting
themselves,"
As the attacks began, two
terrorist started random firing at CST railway station while three other teams had
began firing at Oberoi, Taj and Nariman House. One terrorist who sustained a
bullet injury in his hand during an encounter with the police was captured. And
all the rest were killed during the 3-day gun fight, the police
said.

Manmohan Singh in New Delhi Sunday morning, Congress spokesperson Jayanti
Natarajan said.

resignation to Prime Minister Singh, said the Congress spokesperson.

59-hour Mumbai terror siege comes to
end
MUMBAI, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- India's longest terror
nightmare that lasted for almost 59 hours ended Saturday as commandos from the
National Security Guard (NSG), the Indian Army and the Indian Navy eliminated
three militants who had taken over the iconic Taj Mahal hotel.
"Finally, we have been able to win the battle and do the

Over 13 foreigners killed in Mumbai

NEW DELHI, Nov. 29
(Xinhua) -- At least 13 foreigners were killed and 22 injured in the Mumbai
terror attacks since it happened Wednesday night, officials said Saturday.
The earlier data released by India's Home Ministry on
Friday said that eight foreign nationals were dead. The deceased included three
German nationals, two Americans and one each from Japan, Canada and Australia.

MUMBAI, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- The terror war on Mumbai is on the verge of ending
Friday night with security forces securing the 5-star Oberoi hotel and a Jewish
Centre -- Nariman House, but gunmen continued to hold out inside the Taj hotel
at the end of pitched combat that left 30 hostages dead.
At the Nariman House, a residential complex housing a
prayer hall, commandos were air dropped from helicopters in a first such
operation ever. Two militants were killed but not before five of the hostages
were eliminated by them.
The terrorists wanted to launch an attack which would attract international
attention, the police added.
