Denmark offers support for Nepali peace process

    KATHMANDU, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Danish Foreign Minister Per Stig Moller said here Saturday that his government is ready to extend all possible support for success of Nepal's peace process.

    During his meeting with Nepali Prime Minister Prachanda here on Saturday, the Danish minister said his government can also contribute their expertise on the constitution making process.

    Prachanda told him that Nepal's neighboring countries India and China have played positive and cooperative role for ongoing peace process and development.

    According to Hira Bahadur Thapa, Foreign Affairs advisor to Nepali PM, Prachanda apprised the Danish minister of aid assurances received from the two big neighbors for Nepal's success in establishing peace and economic transformation.

    Thapa said the Danish minister expressed happiness over Nepal's progress of the peace process.

    In response to Moller's offer for support, Prachanda said Nepalseeks continued support for its peace process and economic development from Denmark.

    Moller arrived here Friday for a three-day visit to Nepal.
