KATHMANDU, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- British Army's Chief of General Staff Gen. Sir Richard Dannatt arrived in the Nepali capital Kathmandu on Friday at the invitation of Chief of Army Staff of the Nepal Army, General Rookmangud Katawal.

    General Dannatt, who is here on a four-day visit, met his Nepali counterpart at the Army Headquarters on Friday.

    During the meeting, the two discussed issues of mutual interest, according to Directorate of Public Relation of Nepal Army.

    This will be General Dannatt's first visit to Nepal during his tenure as the professional head of the British Army.
