BEIJING, Nov. 25 -- As the Nagqu Logistics Center in
construction boasts an average altitude of 4,500 meters, workers involved face
Hypoxia and coldness. In order to protect the workers' life and health, series
of measures have been taken by China Construction Group, who is in charge of the
project.
Three grades of insurance institutions have been established: Headquaters,
Item Department and construction teams. Workers will enjoy physical examination
before, during and after their work. Since this April, the free medical
treatment has benefited over 10,000 workers and ten people suffering from acute
