AMMAN, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- China's top political advisor
Jia Qinglin exchanged views here Monday with Jordanian Prime Minister Nader
al-Dahabi on furthering bilateral cooperation in various fields.
Jia, chairman of the National Committee of the
Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), said bilateral
substantial cooperation constitutes an important part in bilateral relationship,
as well as an important force in the sustained development of bilateral ties.

He
underlined the fruitful achievements made by the two sides in bilateral
cooperation which can be manifested by the increasing trade, investment and
project engineering between the two sides.
Jia said he hoped that the two sides will continue to
explore new areas for cooperation so as to push bilateral ties to higher levels.
Dahabi, for his part, said Jordan hopes to
consolidate bilateral traditional friendship, enhance bilateral exchanges and
promote the further growth of bilateral substantial cooperation.
After the meeting, Jia and Dahabi also attended a
signing ceremony for bilateral cooperative documents covering economy, science
and technology.
Jia, who arrived here Sunday on an official goodwill
visit as guest of Jordanian Senate President Zaid Al Rifaee, also went to the
Jordan Investment Board to listen to an introduction to Jordan's economy and
investment.
Jia said the Chinese side will continue to encourage
Chinese investment in Jordan and welcomes Jordanian businesses to China.
Jordan is the first leg of Jia's four-nation visit which will also take him to Turkey, Laos and Cambodia.

Qinglin, and they exchanged views on furthering bilateral relations.
Jia, Chairman of the National Committee of the

Abdullah's positive contributions to the development of Sino-Jordanian
