(Xinhua) -- The International Association of Athletics Federations announced a
series of awards for the year 2008 on Monday during the celebration of the World
Athletics Gala in Monte Carlo.
Following are the list of winners.
Male World Athlete of the Year: Usain Bolt, Jamaica
