Greek ship hijacked in Gulf of Aden in September released

    NAIROBI, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- A Greek-owned chemical tanker and its crew hijacked by pirates in the Gulf of Aden waters nearly two months ago was released on Friday, a Kenyan maritime official said.

    Andrew Mwangura of the East Africa Seafarers Association said that the ship has been freed but it was not clear whether a ransom had been paid.
