NICOSIA, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- A Danish air force plane with Foreign Minister Per Steg Moller on board made an emergency landing in Cyprus Thursday due to a cracked windscreen in the cockpit.

The pilot of the Galaxy C-156 aircraft contacted the control tower at the western coastal city of Paphos, asking for permission to make an emergency landing, reported the semi-official Cyprus News Agency.

The plane landed safely at 1:21 p.m. local time (1121 GMT) and no one was injured, said the report.

The aircraft was carrying a total of 15 people, most were officials from the Danish government. Its itinerary was not revealed.
