Moderate earthquake hits Bulgarian capital

    SOFIA, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- A moderate earthquake jolted the Bulgarian capital Saturday, sending panicked residents fleeing to streets.

    The tremor, which struck the city at around 10:10 p.m. lcoal time (1110 GMT), measured 4 on the Richter Scale, Bulgaria's seismic authorities said, without giving further details.

    People living in Sofia could feel the quake, which has been reported by citizens in different parts of the city.
