Special Report: Global Financial Crisis

    LONDON, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- The London Stock Market dropped slightly at the close on Thursday afternoon as investors' concerns about the world economic downturn sustained.

    The benchmark FTSE 100 index ended down 12.81 points or 0.31 percent to 4,169.21 as Germany also entered into recession.

    Mining company Fresnillo dropped 13.31 percent while Baring Emerging Europe shed 12.08 percent.

    Shares of the Man Group, however, rose 9.74 percent.
