TOKYO, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar rose into
the upper 97 yen range Wednesday morning in Tokyo from lower 97 yen level
earlier.
At noon, the dollar fetched 97.78-83 yen against
97.40-50 yen in London at 4 p.m. Tuesday and 97.64-65 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. the
same day. The New York foreign exchange market was closed for the Veteran's Day
holiday.
The euro traded at 1.2567-2572 dollars and 122.87-92 yen compared with 1.2545-2555 dollars and 122.15-20 yen in London and 1.2727-2729 dollars and 124.27-31 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday.
