YAOUNDE, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- One of the ten people kidnapped by gunmen off the coast of Cameroon was killed on Wednesday in failed rescue efforts, agencies' reports said.

    A group of gunmen attacked an oil vessel working in an offshore oilfield for the French petroleum Total . At least 10 crew members was reportedly kidnapped near Bakassi Peninsula, a former Nigerian territory now belonging to Cameroon.
