MADRID, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Spain coach Vicente del Bosque will make some changes to his side ahead of their World Cup qualifying game against Belgium on Wednesday night.

    So far the Spanish side has enjoyed a 100 percent start to their campaign to qualify for the 2010 World Cup finals, defeating Bosnia- Herzegovina 1-0 and Armenia 4-0 in Spain before winning 3-0 away to Estonia on Saturday night.

    Spain have always expected to have taken maximum points from those three matches. But Belgium presents the first difficult challenge of Del Bosque's reign along with Turkey.

    The Belgians have expressed worries about the state of the King Baldwin Stadium where the match will be held and in the face of what could be a heavy playing surface, Del Bosque will opt to juggle his midfield.

    Xabi Alonso will probably make way to allow Brazilian-born midfielder Marcos Senna to start in the holding role just ahead of the defense.

    Del Bosque could also be tempted to make alterations to his defense, with Andoni Iriola stepping in for Sergio Ramos, who is still struggling with a muscle problem. Meanwhile Raul Albiol will return to partner Carles Puyol in central defense with Juanito stepping down to the bench.

    Fernando Torres and Iniesta both have slight muscle problems, but both should be fit for the game.

    Should the Spanish win against a young and improving Belgian side, they know that a win at home in March to Turkey in their next World Cup qualifying game will all but confirm their place in South Africa in the summer of 2010.
