LIMA, Oct. 10 (Xinhua) -- Bolivian President Evo Morales said Friday that the current international financial crisis will not directly affect Bolivia's economy, because its economy is stable enough to resist outside threats.

"(Bolivia) will not directly have a crisis, but yes indirectly," Morales said. Meetings have been held since last week to discuss ways to shield any impact from outside, he said.

Morales again accused the capitalist system of being responsible for the crisis.

Bolivia's mineral prices have witnessed a continuous drop due to international financial turmoil, with the tin price dropping by as many as four U.S. dollars.
