ULAN BATOR, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Mongolian Prime Minister Sanj Bayar and Parliament Speaker Damdin Demberel respectively met with visiting Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Hayati Yazici on Monday, vowing to boost bilateral ties in various fields.

Cooperation in politics, economy and culture between the two countries had developed successfully in recent years, Bayar said.

Mongolia would support Turkey's candidacy for a non-permanent seat at the UN Security Council in 2009, he added.

For his part, the Turkish deputy prime minister said his country would continue to increase investment and aid to Mongolia.

Yazici arrived in Ulan Bator on Sunday for a two-day visit. Earlier, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan canceled his visit to Mongolia after 15 soldiers of the Turkish security forces were killed by Kurdish Workers' Party in an attack near the border with Iraq.
