SEOUL, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung was called up again to the South Korean squad for the World Cup qualifier against the United Arab Emirates this month.

    The Premier League champions did not release Park for last month's Asian Group Two game against DPR. Korea, a 1-1 draw, to avoid worsening a lingering knee injury.

    The squad named on Monday for the Oct. 15 match also includes defender Lee Young-pyo, who moved from Tottenham Hotspur to Germany's Borussia Dortmund earlier this year.

    DPR. Korea and Saudi Arabia top the standings with four points each from two matches.

    South Korea, looking for their seventh straight trip to the World Cup finals, are level with Iran on one point from one match each, while the UAE are rooted to the bottom of the table after losing both of their matches.
