The verdict means that 61-year-old Simpson, who was
infamously acquitted of murdering his ex-wife and her friend in Los Angeles 13
years ago, faces a possible life sentence for a five-minute quarrel. He will be
sentenced on Dec. 5.
The 1995 trial of Simpson, a former NFL player and a
rich blacksports star, attracted worldwide media attention and became a cultural
flash point that drew huge courthouse crowds and polarized black and white
Americans.
