MANAGUA, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- A passenger plane of the American Airlines of the United States landed on Thursday on emergency in the international airport Augusto Sandino of Nicaragua, after one window cracked during the flight.

    Airport's authorities as quoted by state-owned radio saying that all the passengers were uninjured although they were nervous.

    Nicaraguan authorities have not said if the event was an accident or a sabotage.

    The emergency landing took place around midday in the airport located 11 km east of Managua.
