BANGKOK, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's newly elected Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat said the new cabinet-lineup is completed, but the Secretariat of the Cabinet will examine the qualifications of all ministers before submitting to His Majesty the King for royal approval.
According to reports of Bangkok Post's website, Somchai said that figures who will likely take the finance, foreign and defense ministers are both from the coalition and outside the political arena.
The premier said he tried to place individuals in different cabinet seats in accordance with their suitability, adding that he is ready to listen from comments and criticisms from all sides.
Somchai added that he will try to perform at his utmost and he is responsible for his decisions.
Somchai was elected as the new premier during last week's parliament session after former Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej was ordered to leave the office since he attended several cooking TV programs.
