JAKARTA, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- A 5.4 magnitude earthquake hit southeast of Jayapura, capital of Indonesia's Papua province, on Sunday, but there was no immediate report of casualties or material damage, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) said.
The epicenter of the quake, which struck at 4:05 p.m. (0905 GMT),was located at 3.95 degrees southern latitude and 141.47 degrees eastern longitude at a depth of 70 km, said the agency.
