    BEIJING, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Beijing passed its Paralympics host baton to London on Wednesday night, as Mayor Guo Jinlong handed over the Paralympic flag to his London counterpart Boris Johnson via International Paralympic Committee President Philip Craven in the National Stadium, or the Bird's Nest, in north Beijing.

    Craven just declared the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games closed.
