MADRID, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Atletico Madrid coach Javier Aguirre was unable to celebrate fully after watching his side return to the Champions League with a win after their 3-0 triumph away to PSV Eindhoven late on Tuesday night.

Two goals from Kun Aguero put Atletico on track to victory on their return to the competition for the first time in 11 years. However, Aguirre was worried after seeing striker Diego Forlan limp out of the match after just half an hour.

Forlan will have tests on Wednesday to discover the extent of his injury. Speaking after the final whistle, his coach was a worried man.

"I can't be fully happy about the result, because I am worried about Diego Forlan's injury. He came back from international duty from Uruguay with a small muscle problem and now he has got injured," the official club website quoted Aguirre as saying.

"We will have to see how he evolves," he added, before looking on the bright side.

"We have to try and be positive. It is a night for us to enjoy and we are very satisfied with the work that we have done," commented the Atletico Madrid coach.

Aguirre also wanted to make clear that the game had been much tougher than the final result may show and warned the players and the fans that there was still a lot of work to be done.

"Be careful about getting carried away with the euphoria. We have another league game on Saturday (against Recreativo Huleva) and we have to keep our feet on the ground. Last weekend we went to Valladolid after two good results and we lost," he said.
