Ho also asked them to make friends with other
athletes and promote the region to the world.
The two-athlete delegation will take part in the
track and field and swimming events with Kuong Sio-leng and Ao Loi-si.
Kuong, an Olympic torchbearer in Macao, will compete
in the women's shot put and discus. It's her second Paralympics.
"I will make all-out efforts to fight for best ever
achievement on home soil," she said.
Another athlete Ao will feature in the men's 50m and
100m freestyle.
It's the sixth time for the Macao Paralympic
Committee, founded in 1979, to send athletes to the Paralympics. Only one
athlete attended the Athens Paralympics.
