Situation
ISLAMABAD, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Four children were killed in a missile
attack in Pakistan's tribal area on Friday, private TV channel Geo reported.
American drone fired three missiles and targeted two houses in North
Waziristan tribal region bordering Afghanistan, leaving four children dead and
several others injured, according to Geo.
Local newspaper DAWN reported Friday that five foreigners were killed in a
missile attack by a suspected unmanned U.S. plane in the Momadkhel village of
North Waziristan on Thursday.
Meanwhile, both houses of the parliament Thursday unanimously asked the
government to take measures to "repel such attacks in the future with full
force," in response to a raid conducted by the U.S.-led coalition forces in
South Waziristan tribal area on Wednesday.
