Meng Meng, 7, has a light moment in her father's arms on her way to school for her first day in school in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, Sept. 1, 2008. Meng Meng, an adopted foundling by migrant labourer Zhao Chunxi and his wife, was diagnosed with congenital heart disease 10 months after her birth. Never having the thought of abandoning the child, the couple spent all their savings, and with the charity donations, to cure the girls diseease in 2007.
