BEIJING, Sept. 4 (Xinhuanet) -- Braille or "wordless" books are offered at the Main Press Center to help jounralists who are preparing for the reporting of the coming Paralympic Games in Beijing.

The books, bigger and thicker than average ones, are filled with numerous pinholes. They are the Guide to Barrier-free Services for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Rich information about the Paralympics services, including venues, shops, historic sites and special restaurants are provided in the book. Blind journalists can easily find the information they need with the help of the book.

The MPC offers many other facilities and services specially designed for the paralympians. For example, special seats for wheelchair-bound journalists are offered in the cyber caf¨¦, and special fitness equipment is found in the gym. All the facilities and services will help the reporters with disability to better cover the event.
