TEHRAN, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Deputy Health Minister Hassan Imami Razavi said here on Saturday that four people have died of cholera in Iran recently, the official IRNA news agency reported.
The number of the people infected in the country is 110 so far this year, Razavi was quoted as saying.
Cholera breaks out every summer in the country due to the neglect of individual sanitary as well as water or vegetable pollution, he said, calling on people to be very careful in the following months.
The Health Ministry recently released an announcement warning people of cholera and suggesting them to care about sanitation.
