LISBON, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- The Portuguese team departed on Friday for the Paralympics in Beijing.

    A total of 35 Portuguese athletes will compete in seven sports in the Sept. 6-17 Games.

    "We usually win medals. This time we will win, but it is hard to say how many," said Raul Candido, chief of the Portuguese Federation of Sports of Disables (FPDF).
