JAKARTA, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- The Indonesian national sports committee (KONI) will send three athletes to the Paralympic Games in Beijing.

"We only send three athletes for three sports, namely lawn tennis, weightlifting and swimming. They are leaving this evening for Beijing," chef de mission of Indonesian team Kusnan Ismukanto told Xinhua on Friday.

After they arrive in Beijing, the Indonesian athletes will undergo an initial preparation such as a physical test. "They have to be tested for physical disability, if it is true or not. The test can not be cheated, although it may happen," he said.

The Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games will be held from September 6-17.
