JAKARTA, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia will sell LNG to Tokyo Gas Co. from
Tangguh project with a cost of 20 U.S. dollars per million British thermal unit
(Btu), according to local media on Thursday.
"Tokyo Gas Co. will get 500,000 tons of the quota," the Indonesian business
daily quoted a deputy of operation at Indonesian oil and gas regulatory body as
saying.
The price of LNG equals to the price of LNG Bontang and Arun inKalimantan
has been pegged at the level 100 U.S. dollars per barrel.
"If the oil price reduces to 100 U.S. dollars or even below per barrel,
Indonesia will sell gas of Tangguh in Papua with a price of 18 U.S. dollars per
million Btu," he said.
