New Zealand athletes heading to Beijing for Paralympics

    WELLINGTON, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- New Zealand has the chance of winning more gold medals when the Paralympic Games get underway on Sept. 6.

    The 30-strong New Zealand team left for Beijing Wednesday and will compete in seven sports.

    Chef de Mission Duane Kale said 15-year-old swimmer Sophie Pascoe is a rising star and has a very good chance of bringing home gold.
