PYONGYANG, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- China has demonstrated its national power before the whole world by successfully hosting the summer Olympic Games and climbing atop the gold medal table, a Korean news paper said Monday.

    Countries which declined to China's rising could never look down on China, said a commentary carried by Choson Sinbo, a newspaper run by ethnic Koreans in Japan.

    China has poured out a lot of strength in the Olympiad, even a grand event in the long history of China, it added.
