Chinese boxer Hanati Silamu eliminated before final

    BEIJING, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Chinese welterweight (69 kg) boxer Hanati Silamu was eliminated here on Friday in semifinal at the Beijing Olympic Games, losing to Carlos Banteaux Suarez from Cuba at 17-4.

    He will be given a bronze medal after the failure to check into the final.
