    BEIJING, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- Portugal's Nelson Evora flew 17.67 meters to win the Olympic men's triple jump gold medal at the Olympic Games here on Thursday.

    Britain's Phillips took the silver with 17.62 meters and Bahamas' Leevan Sands got the bronze with 17.59.
