Taekwondo player Rohullan gives Afghanistan first-ever Olympic medal

    BEIJING, Aug. 20 (Xinhua) -- Taekwondo player Rohullan Nikpai gifted Afghanistan its first ever Olympic medal here Wednesday when he clinched the men's 58kg bronze at the Beijing Olympics.

    Rohullan upset world champion spaniard Juan Antonio Ramos 4-1 in a bronze medal match.
