    BEIJING, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Defending champion China beat 2004 runner-up Russia 3-0 (25-22, 27-25, 25-19) to advance into the semifinals of the Olympic women's volleyball tournament here on Tuesday.

    China will take on Brazil in the semifinals while Cuba meets the winner of the United States-Italy game.
