    BEIJING, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Victoria Pendleton of Britain won the women's sprint cycling gold medal at the Beijing Olympic Games here on Tuesday.

    Australian Anna Meares finished second and Chinese Guo Shuang got the bronze.
