    GAZA, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- An Islamic Hamas movement's official said Tuesday that the door is widely opened for President Mahmoud Abbas to come to the Gaza Strip that Hamas has been ruling since last summer.

    Hamas legislature, Ahmed Abu Halabeya said in a statement that "the door is widely opened for President Abbas to come to Gaza because it is his country," adding "and he will get a better protection than his security apparatuses."

    Abbas hasn't been in Gaza since Hamas movement took control of his office and his house in the City in mid June last year after it took control by force all the Gaza Strip, and ousted his security apparatuses.

    However, Abu Halabeya, member of the parliament dominated by Hamas accused Abbas "and those who are sitting around him" for not being serious in launching a comprehensive dialogue.

    "He (Abbas) and the people around him are not willing to achieve positive results that serve the highest interests of the Palestinian people and end the current status of internal division," said Abu Halabeya.

    He added that "it is becoming obvious that America is pressuring Abbas and doesn't want any positive results for the dialogue, "and didn't give Abbas the permission to launch a serious dialogue with Hamas."

    Gaza Strip has been witnessing active meetings and talks, where several Palestinian factions held recent separate meetings with rival Hamas and Fatah leaders in Gaza. The results of the meetings were described as positive.

    Egypt, according to well-informed Palestinian sources would invite next week leaders of the Palestinian political groups and factions, including Fatah and Hamas to prepare for "a successful comprehensive dialogue."
