    BEIJING, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Russian Mavlet Batirov took the gold medal in the men's freestyle 60kg wrestling final at the Beijing Olympics here on Tuesday.

    Batirov, 25, dominated the final against Ukrainian Vasyl Fedoryshyn to win two overwhelming bouts 1-0 and 2-1.

    The winner of 55kg category at Athens Games four years ago, Batirov swifted to the 60kg class in 2006 and won the title in the 2007 world championships.

    Kenichi Yumoto of Japan and Seyedmorad Mohammadi of Iran defeated their respective opponents to share the bronze medals.
