Isinbaeva breaks Olympic record

    BEIJING, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- Pole vault tsarina Elena Isinbaeva broke the Olympic record of the women's pole vault at the Beijing Olympics here on Monday.

    In her third attempt, she cleared 4.95 meters to beat her own Olympic record of 4.91 meters set up at the Athens Olympics four years ago.
