BEIJING, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- Pole vault tsarina Elena Isinbaeva is competing for her new world record after securing her second Olympic gold.

Her arch-rival Jennifer Stuczynski of the United States failed at 4.85 meters, the height which Isinbaeva cleared in her first attempt. Enditem
