    BEIJING, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Beijing Municipal Meteorological Bureau has dispatched a team of Meteorological experts and weathermen to the National Stadium, also known as Bird's Nest, to better serve track and field events to be held in the stadium on upcoming days.

    They announced every 15 minutes temperature, humidity, air pressure, wind direction and wind speed of the National Stadium to the stadium's control center, Beijing-based newspaper Beijing Times reports on Sunday.

    In addition, the meteorological group sent reports of weather conditions at the Bird's Nest four times a day to the Beijing Olympics command center.

    The track and field events, a match requiring good weather condition, began on Friday.
