SHANGHAI, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- Argentine defence pivot Javier Mascherano has shown confidence for their Olympic men's soccer semifinal clash agianst Brazil.

"We will not make any mistake against them, or we may pay for that."
Brazil made a comprhensive 3-0 win over their neighbors in the Cope America 2007 final. When asked whether this will give the Argentine side extra emotion, Mascherano said:" Yes, we lost to them 0-3 in that game. But now there are some change of players(of the Argentine team), we have four or five players who played that match in the team now."
Mascherano told Xinhua that the Argentine side should improve their defence system and in the finishing touch, and they have not watched a Brazilian match in the Beijing Games so for.
"We'll watch their video later, and try to study them."
