BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- "I dreamed about winning. Now it comes true," said Duncan Free from Australia on Saturday.

The two-time world champions Drew Ginn and Duncan Free won in 6 minutes 37.44 seconds in the men's pair Olympic rowing.

"When you finish a race like that, when it's a real ding-dong battle, you just have to stand up and enjoy," said Ginn.

Ginn, 34, successfully defended the title he won with three-time Olympic gold medalist James Tomkins in Athens. He was also among the "Awesome Foursome" that won gold in the coxless four in Atlanta.
