Jayne Pearce hails Beijing Olympics

BEIJING, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- Jayne Pearce, press chief for the London Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games, praised here on Tuesday the excellent organizing of the Beijing Olympics especially the services for the media.

"The services for the media are very good," Pearce said. "The media come to the Olympics to work. We have to make sure that they have good access to the venues, they can see the sport, they have good technology to report the games and they have access to the athletes. We also should provide good accommodation and transport. Beijing has done very well on all those counts. And we would hold the same in London." Full Story
